*A public service announcement for the uninitiated iTunes user (i.e. new iPod owners like me). If your PC* refuses to rip/inport more than one CD in a row, don’t waste hours trying everything under the sun, simply run ‘msconfig’ from Run and then uncheck the “Shwicon2k” item from the list in the Startup tab in the System Configuration Utility window. *Like my top end multimedia HP Pavillion. Ironically (but not in the corrupted Alanis Morrisette way) , Apple use the exact same model in the above picture which features on their iTunes webpage and which, according to a few forums is particularly susceptible.
