I first wrote for a readership by mocking up a fake community newspaper called The Pertness Herald to amuse colleagues. I have been mucking around on the web since Compuserve first hit the UK and writing online and blogging in one form or another ever since and bignoseduglyguy is the longest-lasting incarnation of such efforts. I have written articles all over the place and worked on include a now-defunct handheld computing website, the launch of the London & Auckland Metroblogging sites and a number of online communities. In 2005, I emigrated to New Zealand and blogged about the experience at Looking for No.8 Wire. When I remember, I also write about food at Big Boy’s Brunch.
For posterity and ease, this site contains all the posts, pictures, comments and yeasty goodness from my other blogs Found By You and Looking For No.8 Wire. Thanks for sticking with my peripatetic noodlings.
